Calendar Spam Cleaner
Calendar Spam Cleaner
Calendar Spam Cleaner
Calendar Spam Cleaner
Calendar Spam Cleaner
Calendar Spam Cleaner

Calendar Spam Cleaner Privacy Policy
Calendar Spam Cleaner is provided by an individual developer. This policy explains how the app handles privacy-related information.
We Do Not Collect or Transmit Personal Data
Calendar Spam Cleaner does not require an account, does not include third-party advertising SDKs, does not include third-party analytics SDKs, and does not request permission to track you across apps or websites. Calendar access occurs only on the device, and the developer cannot access that content.
Calendar Permission
Calendar Spam Cleaner requests access to your calendar so it can scan events on your device and identify suspicious events, duplicate events, and subscribed-calendar items. The app may read event titles, notes, URLs, locations, dates, calendar names, calendar types, and the display name of a calendar source or account to classify results, diagnose likely sources, and display its findings.
Risk Reasons and Source Diagnosis
The app locally compares event titles and dates, checks URL schemes, hosts, and length, and analyzes how frequently matching events appear. It uses these checks to show reasons such as unfamiliar subscription source, duplicate, suspicious URL, or unusual frequency. These results are heuristic diagnostic signals and do not prove that a particular person or organization created an event.
On-Device Processing
Calendar scanning, classification, and source diagnosis are performed on your device. The app itself does not upload calendar data, subscription source names, or diagnostic results to a developer server, and it does not sell or share this information with advertising, analytics, or data-broker services.
Data Retention
Event titles, notes, URLs, locations, calendar names, source names, and diagnostic results are used for the current scan while the app is running and are not written by Calendar Spam Cleaner to persistent storage. The app stores only non-content state locally on the device, such as whether the privacy explanation was shown and the free-cleanup usage count. This state contains no calendar content and is not uploaded by the app. Purchase entitlements are provided and managed by Apple StoreKit.
Optional Share Rewards
Free users may voluntarily open the iOS system share sheet to share a generic description of Calendar Spam Cleaner and its App Store link in exchange for additional cleanup credits. Shared content does not include event counts, calendar names, event content, or diagnostic results. The app does not read contacts or recipients and does not track who receives a share. To enforce the limit of three rewards per day and perform local reward confirmation, the app stores reward counts, earned cleanup credits, and pending confirmation timestamps in the device Keychain. This state is not uploaded to a developer server.
Deletion
Calendar Spam Cleaner only deletes editable calendar events that you select and confirm in the app. Read-only or non-editable events are skipped.
Revoking Access and Deleting Data
You can revoke Calendar Spam Cleaner's calendar access at any time in iOS Settings. After access is revoked, the app cannot scan or delete calendar events. Because no calendar content or diagnostic results are stored on a developer server, the developer has no server copy of that information to delete. You can continue to manage or delete your events in the system Calendar app and may delete the app to remove ordinary local app data managed by iOS.
Purchases
Calendar Spam Cleaner Pro purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple App Store and StoreKit. The developer does not collect your payment card number or Apple ID password inside the app.
Children's Privacy
Calendar Spam Cleaner is intended as a general productivity tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If app features or data practices change, this privacy policy may be updated. The updated version will be posted on this page.
